With the recent changes to qualification for the Development Squad 2016-2017 whereby a wider range of skaters may be considered for selection to this squad, it has been decided that there will be one elite squad this season., the NISA National Team.
For this season, skaters achieving the minimum TES score in one category for both the Short and Free Programmes at the forthcoming IJS Sheffield will also be considered for qualification to the National Team.
Otherwise, only scores from competitions which were accepted by the ISU for International Competition status in the season 2015-2016 and in the forthcoming season 2016-2017 will be considered for qualification to the National Team. At international ISU competitions, the minimum TES score for Short and Free programmes may be achieved at separate events.
The current Athlete Agreement including the International Selection Policy and timeline for selection to European and World/Junior World Championships can be found here.
