This week Nicholas Buckland & Penny Coomes, Danielle Harrison and Phillip Harris will represent Great Britain at the ISU European Figure Skating Championships, taking place from 25th to 31st January.
The annual competition will see the best European figure skating talent descend on Bratislava, Slovakia to compete for the title of European Champion in one of four disciplines: Men, Ladies, Pairs and Ice Dance.
After withdrawing from the 2015 European Championships due to illness, Ice Dance couple and 2014 European Bronze medallists, Penny Coomes & Nick Buckland, are looking forward to returning to the European stage for the first time in 2016;
“This season has so far been about us finding our feet again after illness caused us to miss out on the European and World Championships last season.
“Our Grand Prix events and the National Championships went well and we were happy with our performances, however our team felt like something was missing. Since then we have made some big changes and have been working extremely hard to surprise everyone with our performances; we are excited to share it all with you at the European Figure Skating Championships!”
All the latest results will be available on the official ISU European Figure Skating Championships website.
