Day 1: Nebelhorn Trophy

Yesterday was the first of a two day international competition in Oberstdorf, Germany. The event sees skaters from over 20 worldwide countries compete in Senior Men, Ladies, Pairs and Dance from 24th to 26th September. The competition includes NISA’s elite couple Christopher Boyadji & Amani Fancy and current British National Champion, Phil Harris.

Day one began with the Short Program and both Christopher & Amani and Phil achieved new personal bests.

Chris & Amani put their expertise to good use and made the triple twist rotation and overall scored 48.75, beating their current Short Program personal best of 47.79.

Coventry’s Phil Harris skated later in the evening. He performed a strong Triple Axel Jump and achieved a score of 65.76, beating his current personal best of 65.16.

Today Chris & Amani and Phil skate in the competitions final Free Skating and we wish them the best of luck!
