Excellent eleven skaters to compete at Challenge Cup

This weekend a fantastic eleven skaters will be representing Great Britain at the Challenge Cup in The Netherlands.

Competing in the Senior Ladies is British Junior Champion, Kristen Spours (pictured). Kristen has been in great form this season, most recently finishing second in the Senior Ladies at Skate Helena last month. She will be aiming to carry on her fine form in the build up to the ISU Junior World Figure Skating Championships in March.

In the Senior Men’s, British Senior and Junior Champion, Graham Newberry, who recently scored a Personal Best of 198.06 at the European Figure Skating Championships, will be hoping to continue his similarly sublime form this season.

Also skating in the Senior Men’s is Harry Mattick. The former Junior British Champion skated to win gold at the Sofia Trophy earlier this month and will aiming to build upon his high scores in Bulgaira.

Ruaridh Fisher and James Horrocks will be competing in the Junior Men’s and will also be hoping for strong skates at The Hague.

Brilliant brothers Elliot and Edward Appleby will be competing in the Advanced Novice Men.

We have an amazing four skaters competing in the Basic Novice A Ladies category. Jasmine Cressey, Lauryn Fox, Ava Mclean and Aoife Stevenson will all be looking forward to strong performances.

Best of luck to all our skaters at the competition.
