GB take top three at Skate Helena

Superb GB Senior Ladies took the top three positions at the Skate Helena this weekend.

British Senior Ladies Champion, Natasha McKay (pictured: centre), won gold with an amazing score of 148.73. Natasha has been in fine form recently and will hope that she can repeat her quality performance at the ISU European Figure Skating Championships this week.

Junior Champion Kristen Spours (pictured: right) won silver after scoring a strong 140.80. Kristen was recently announced as one of the team representing GB at the ISU Junior World Figure Skating Championships.

British Senior Ladies runner-up and former British Champion, Karly Robertson (pictured: left), won a brillaint bronze at the competition.

Also competing in the Senior Ladies was Anna Litvinenko. Anna skated well to finish in 8th place in a highly competitive category.

Nina Povey withdrew from the competition.

In the Junior Ladies, Anastasia Vaipan-Law skated fantastically to finish in 5th place.

The Europa Cup Skate Helena is an international skating competition that ran from 17th-21st January 2017.
