4 things you need to know before the October Qualifier

The British Figure Skating Championships October Qualifier is just a few days away.

If you’re attending as a skater, coach, parent or spectator, there are a few things that you will need to remember.

Covid-19 Tests

All skaters and coaches attending the British Figure Skating Championships Qualifier October must complete and provide evidence, upon accreditation at the British Ice Skating desk, of a conventional Lateral Flow Test or a Saliva Rapid Antigen Test.

Lateral Flow tests can be collected free of charge from your local chemist, whilst Saliva Rapid Antigen Test can be bought online and in-stores across the UK.

Whilst not mandatory, we would highly recommended that spectators also do a test before arriving to best protect our athletes, coaches and officials.

All skaters and coaches must also complete and present the Covid-19 screening questionnaire.

Practice Ice

Practice ice must be booked in advance on a first come first served basis.

Log in to the BIS member platform if you would like to book your place.

Spectator tickets

Anyone other than skaters and coaches attending the event needs to book spectators tickets in advance. You can do this through the BIS online membership platform.

Skaters do not need to buy tickets and can attend on any day of the competition.
