In 2026 the ISU European Figure Skating Championships will be taking place in Sheffield, and British Ice Skating are now calling for tenders for key contracts to support the championships’ delivery.
Over 150 skaters from over 35 countries will compete at the event, with projected spectators' attendance of over 6000 with a broadcast expected to reach over 80 million. The championships were awarded to British Ice Skating following a successful bid to the ISU and we are working in partnership with Sheffield City Council and UK Sport to deliver the event.

Broadcast Partner
Our Broadcast Partner will be responsible for producing the International Signal from the event and for providing technical, broadcasting and other facilities and services to Rights Holders licensed by the ISU. These responsibilities will need to be delivered to the highest standards, befitting a sporting event of international importance.

Business Service Management Partner
Our Business Services Delivery Partner will be required to lead and provide support to the Event Local Organising Committee in the following areas:
- Risk Assessments
- Health and Safety Management
- Spectator Experience
- Media Officer and Event Media Management
- Event Readiness
- Event Reports and Impacts

Transportation Partner
Our Transportation Partner will need to provide a fleet of single or double decker coaches and minibuses to transport athletes and competition officials throughout the course of the event. A high-quality transportation service is required for ensuring that athletes and event officials are seamlessly delivered to their destinations during the period 11th to 19th January 2026.
