Performance Pathway Restructure: Singles & Pairs

The BIS Performance Team has recently reviewed and made changes to the Performance Pathway and its Squad Structure.


Learning from current challenges and having identified gaps in the previous structure, the Team, in collaboration with key stakeholders and in alignment with the BIS Performance Strategy, will embed the new structure providing increased support for skaters and greater clarity on the requirements for transitioning through the pathway.

Now at the end of the first stage of the Restructure, we are excited to present the BIS Performance Pathway for Singles and Pairs, to be followed by other disciplines soon:

2024-25 Singles & Pairs Squad Applications

 

Applications for the Squad for the season 2024/2025 are now open until 16th May 2025. Skaters that meet the requirements outlined in the Squad Information document are invited to apply here:



 

Skaters who wish to be considered for international competitions in the first half of the season 2024/2025 are encouraged to submit the application as soon as possible, by 16th August 2024. Please note that skaters eligible for the international competitions will be contacted directly by the BIS Performance Team.


The allocations are based on the BIS Rankings and are subject to Technical Advisory Committee approval.
