The competition, held from March 25 to March 30 at TD Garden, showcased both historic achievements and remarkable personal milestones, setting the stage for even greater success in the years to come.

It was a moment that not only celebrated their skill and dedication but also reignited a passion for figure skating in the UK, reminding fans of the magic that first captured their hearts all those years ago.

While the Men’s event was fiercely competitive, Edward Appleby performed admirably in a field packed with world-class talent. His skate was described by Chris Howarth of the ISU commentary team as “a program of real character - he fought and really rose to the challenge”. Ed’s score of 66.70 placed him 32nd, but his determination and grace under pressure stood as a clear reminder of the potential within British men’s figure skating, continuing to set the groundwork for the next generation of male skaters, and indeed Ed himself, to rise to new heights.
