Only a week after the 2023 British Figure Skating Championships, a number of British skaters were already back in action at the Golden Spin of Zagreb, an ISU Challenger Series event. Despite the tight schedule, some fantastic results were achieved, including two qualifying Worlds scores!

Our new Senior British Men's Champion, Edward Appleby, showed his quality once more as he glided into 6th place overall in the men's singles category.
On top of this great finish, his overall score of 199.52 qualifies him for the 2024 World Championships!

Having secured the silver ice dance medal at last month's national championships, Phebe Bekker and James Hernandez dazzled once more to land their World Championships qualifying score alongside a strong 4th place finish.

The British team was rounded out by Kristen Spours, 2023 British Championships Silver Medallist, who skated a 148.47 finishing in 11th in the Women's Singles.
